Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti

Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the school to remember the ideals and contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. The celebration began with an Inter-House Bhajan Competition for Classes VI–VIII, where students presented devotional songs, creating an atmosphere of peace and devotion. Following the competition, students of Class VI participated in a Gandhi March, spreading the message of truth, non-violence, peace and social responsibility. The march served as a reminder of Gandhiji’s enduring principles and their relevance in our daily lives. Students of Class VII took part in Shramdaan (Cleanliness Drive), wherein different sections were assigned specific areas of the school for cleaning. The activity aimed to instil the values of dignity of labour, cleanliness and collective responsibility among students. The celebration provided students with an opportunity to move beyond remembering these great leaders and understand the importance of practising their ideals through simple actions in everyday life.
